ATMT Fund I - Delphos International was hired by East Africa Capital Partners ("EACP"), the Manager of ATMT Fund I as a financial advisor to assist with its capital raising efforts. EACP is seeking to raise equity to be matched by OPIC up to $50m, which will be invested in the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) Industry in East Africa, with an initial focus in Kenya and Tanzania. ATMT Fund is investing in the rollout of broadband local loop infrastructure, namely WiMax technology, and of deep sea fiber optic cables, among other TMT investments. In June 2008, Delphos International has successfully completed the first close with $23.3m, which was exactly matched by OPIC and is currently helping EACP to raise additional equity and debt for its portfolio companies.

Baltimore Dredge Enterprises - Ellicott Dredges Iraq ("EDI"), a subsidiary of Baltimore Dredge Enterprises, LLC, was established to support the construction, marketing, maintenance and spare parts distribution of dredges in Iraq. Delphos was able to assist in arranging a financial structure for the construction of four marine dredges to be delivered to the Iraqi Ministry of Water, including $3.0 million in senior debt financing from OPIC to cover project costs of $7.5 million. The OPIC loan was disbursed in June 2008 and the project stands to improve river navigation, increase hydropower electricity production, maintain flood controls and improve marine transportation in Iraq.
